Our Special Rescued Westies
All of our rescued westies are precious and special, but a few are more special than others. Here we profile our westies with special needs. Please consider giving one of these very wonderful westies a home.
All of the adoption requirements outlined in How to Apply to Adopt a Rescued Westie apply to these westies, too. To apply, please submit the Application to Adopt a Rescued Westie. Our Adoption Coordinator will contact you to discuss next steps.
Josie
Josie is a beautiful 10 year old westie with diabetes. She needs insulin shots twice a day and is very good about taking her shots. The insulin costs approximately $30 per month. She is a very sweet, active and loving westie that just needs a little added attention. Josie gets along well with humans and other dogs.
Wally
Wally came into our Westie Rescue program when his owner could no longer take care of him because of her health issues. He is 14 years old, loving, active and friendly. Wally has dry eye and must receive medication for the condition on a daily basis. We are looking for a special rescue angel who will take him into a loving home for the remainder of his days. In return, Wally will provide lots of love and companionship and memories to last a lifetime.
